My father had an Aston Martin with the registration number OUK 929, but all I have of it is the license disk from Aug 1968 and would love to find out what model the cars was. Any help?!

Hello
are you sure that the registration was OUK929 as this number is not listed in the Aston Martin Owners Club register?
But there once was a registration number OUE929 that might look quite the same if written in script.
If the registration number really was OUE929 than it is an Aston Martin DB2/4 saloon build in 1954. Its chassis number is LML/688 and it was registered in the Netherlands a few years ago.
Otherwise I could not help any further.

Hello
I own the aston martin with registration number OUE 929 and chassis number LML 688.
I own this car since 1989.
The first owner was Jack Emmott of lockheed automotive parts.
Maybe it is the same car we are talking about.
I hope to hear from you if that is so.
With kind regards Gerard Brands.

Hello Liz
Do you now if your father sold the aston to the USA?
The aston was sold new in england and probely exported somewere late 1968 or beginning 1969.
The licence of the car in the USA was first registerd on 28 august 1969 with the plate number: RGR510 in New
Jersey.
Wen the first owner on paper in the USA bought the aston there was a chevrolet engine in it.
Hope to hear from you.
With kind regards

Gerard Brands.
