The Mercedes Benz 600 was introduced in 1963 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The car housed a V8 6.3 litre motor that developed 250 bhp. The engine runs 434 ft/lbs of torque at 3,000 rpm taking the car to a top speed of 127 mph. It also not surprisingly runs two alternators. There were two types of Pullman models available – one with four doors and one with 6 doors. The 6 door Pullmans were jump seat versions. The model was referred to in house as a W100. In total 428 units of the Pullman were built between 1963 and 1981.   In 1972 (the year this particular car was supplied) only 36 Pullman units were supplied by Mercedes Benz.
The 600 Pullman is unique in its design because the engine driven hydraulic system controls as follows:
The windows, front and rear power seats, the fresh air ventilation system, door closure, trunk closure, the sunroof and most importantly the suspension damping. The system runs on mineral oil and runs a nominal 3200 psi pressure.  The reason this system was designed was in order to provide silent accessory operation. This was a completely unique idea and was a success.
This particular example has just had a full restoration.  These cars must be fully restored in order to function without problems.
It is presented in chocolate brown with tan velour and will be supplied in immaculate condition.
