Legendary prototype Group C Endurance racers, vintage single-seaters and sports cars and authentic Grand Prix and Superbikes will marvel the crowds in the ‘Cathedral of Speed’ during the Classic GP, at TT Circuit Assen – Holland. Iconic racers on two, three and four wheels on the famous ‘Circuit van Drenthe’ Grand Prix venue will offer impressions from a revolutionary racing past. Whether fans would like to catch up with former racers and their crew, show off their own pride and joy or just love the idea of admiring racing heritage at a legendary race track; in the late summer the Classic GP Assen offers just that.

From the ‘50’s to the late ‘90’s five decades of dangerously fast car racing produced some of the most iconic racing cars and divisions in motorsports history. Classic GP Assen will host some of the best racing from that era including legendary prototype endurance racers in the Group C Supercup, vintage Le Mans sports cars and divisions that enabled car racing for the masses with souped-up ‘70’s touring cars and open single seaters like the Formula VEE class.

Assen is home to the longest running race event in the history of the FIM Motorcycle Road Race World Championship, the Dutch TT. In a region where its inhabitants could define an individual race bike based on the sound it produced, over 140 racing motorcycles representing 34 brands coming from 16 countries will once again light up the ‘Circuit van Drenthe’. Classic GP will run full grids of authentic grand prix bikes in the 125cc, 250cc, 350cc and 500cc categories as well as a classic Superbike race.

Classic GP offers three full days of racing and race demonstrations. An extensive static display of cars and bikes will complete the experience.
