The Concours d’Élégance at Paleis Het Loo will be spread over three days in 2018.

The car party starts on Friday June 29, 2018, with a very special lecture on Porsche, the brand that celebrates its 70th year of production and the 55th anniversary of the 901/911 this year. Gijs van Lennep, Harm Lagaaij, and other Porsche connoisseurs and enthusiasts will talk about the iconic brand.

Why not enjoy special cars for three days? That was the question asked by Timo Rietbergen and Jan Peter Nijmeijers, organizers of the Concours d’Élégance Paleis Het Loo. The answer was quickly found, thus the 2018 event starts on Friday, June 29, in a special way: with a Porsche College, in honour of the 70th anniversary of the brand. Many Porsche celebrities, including Harm Lagaaij and Gijs van Lennep, will walk us through Porsche history with special stories and iconic models, including the collection of Porsche Centrum Gelderland.

Alpine

The 120th anniversary of Renault is another important theme this year. Old and new models will do justice to the development of the brand. As in 2017, the Alpine brand shall have a vast presence.

Bentley & Rolls-Royce

“De Mascotte”, the Dutch club of Bentley and Rolls-Royce owners, shall also be present with a great number of club members with their cars.

AutoRAI

Good news for fans of modern cars: 10 important national car distributors have pledged their cooperation. They will show their ‘latest and greatest’ in Apeldoorn. With that, the competition has become perhaps a most interesting alternative for the Amsterdam AutoRAI.

Action

Action remains unique to the event, as engines are started from historical cars which appeal to the imagination. Not only that, the public will see the cars in action during the Classic Sprint on the beautiful Koningslaan.
