You are invited to a press briefing at the Royal Automobile Club where details of the event, which will be staged in July next year, will be given:

• The route of the event – which will closely follow the original journey

• Vehicle Eligibility

• Entry fee and what is included

• Event format

• The number of cars expected

• The HERO Team

There will be an opportunity to interview Ben Cussons, Chairman of the Royal Automobile Club’s Motoring Committee and board member, and Tomas de Vargas Machuca, joint Managing Director of HERO.

The briefing will take place in the Mountbatten room at the Royal Automobile Club, 89 Pall Mall, London SW1Y 5HS at 10.30am for 11am on Tuesday June 11th.

“We decided to recreate the trial to show the public what an important part of our history the 1000 Mile Trial was,” said Tomas, “The intent is the same as it was in 1900, to test elements of human endurance, handling skills as well as the reliability of the cars themselves.”
