This year the Via Flaminia will be held for the 8th time. On May 26 a maximum of 30 pre-war automobiles and models up to 1948 will cover some 1200 km over the most beautiful roads, which Italy has to offer.
The Via Flaminia Classic starts at in the historic centre of Trieste. After a week of great driving over long-forgotten roads the rally ends in Cortina D’Ampezzo
The rally goes over some of the hsitorical passes of the Dolomites, great driving and a really splendid scener. The Dolomites are on the UNESCO World Heritage list
The Via Flaminia is a very relaxing rally, it is all about navigation and not about speed, leaving enough time to enjoy the hospitality of the Italians. Many of the stops will be in (medieval) town centres or in hill perched villages along the route. The scenery is breathtaking, the streets are small and meandering and the food, …., well after all it is Italy.
Early inscription fee (until Jan. 15) is € 2.160,- for a crew of two, all included.
If you wish so you can take the car train from Düsseldorf to Trieste and back from Innsbruck
