| Bought new by George Thame of Sydney in 1934 with 1.1 ltr engine and Wilson pre-selector gearbox. He raced the car in the 10th Australian Grand Prix in 1938. At Easter in 1939 he raced the car at Bathurst with a Riley MPH 6 cylinder engine with ERA crank, rods and camshaft that he bought from the factory. He also raced it at Bathurst in 1949 before buying and racing a Jaguar XK120 Roadster. He still owned the car in the 1960s, with an article appearing in the December 1961 issue of Sports Car World.
Edward Ducros bought the car and raced it at Warwick Farm. It passed through several hands before being extensively restored by Kurt Schulz. By this stage it had been fitted with a pre-war 1.5 litre 12/4 motor, as most Imps have been. In 2004 the car was part of the Historic race for the Australian F1 Grand Prix. In February 2006 an Imp was sold at Christie's Paris auction for £88,000 without any racing history.
