The 250 SWB has been built out of a 250 GTE at Alegretti/Italy. Alegretti has used the same diameter for building up the frame as has been used for the alloy comp. cars. By this it was possible to show up the weight of 1080 kg. The technical work and especially the engine work has been carried out by well known marque specialist Piet Roelofs, while the upholstery and assembling has been done by Moto Technique/England. With the car will come a large file of bills, receipts and photos documenting the big effort to built up a conversion which will match the original SWB Competizione aluminum race version. We have been delighted how it worked on the track as stiff and fast as the Original.
