ENTERED FOR THIS YEAR'S BRIGHTON RUN- Quite possibly the best Cadillac Model A in the world
| The Henry Leland designed Model A was displayed at the January 1903 New York Motor Show at which it is reported that Cadillac took orders for 2286 cars. This is car number 1447 so it is very likely that it is one of the cars ordered at the New York show. It is impossible to communicate the amazing condition of this Cadillac so I won't try other than to say it is as near perfect as I imagine a car can be. Perhaps it will suffice to say that the quality of the car is such that the Automobile Association of America used it as a display vehicle during their recent 100 year anniversary celebrations. Furthermore it comes with three body types - a two seat runabout, a four seat tonneau and a C cab van so it is amazingly versatile and useable in a variety of events including both the world famous London to Brighton Run for pre 1904 private cars (IT COMES WITH AN ENTRY FOR THE 2007 RUN) as well as the historic commercial vehicle Brighton Run. As you will imagine a Cadillac of this status will command a price commensurate with its condition. If, however, you are seriously interested in acquiring this powerful 1500cc motor car in its black, gold and burgundy livery with top quality brasswork and fittings, I will be happy to arrange a private viewing for you. N.B. A CADILLAC MODEL A SOLD AT AUCTION IN CALIFORNIA ON 17TH AUGUST FOR $337,000 (ABOUT £170,000). WE ARE SEEKING LESS THAN HALF THAT AMOUNT FOR A MORE VERSATILE CAR!
