Buick entered the postwar years in better shape than many of its counterparts, having embarked on an ambitious redesign for the short-lived 1942 model year that it continued after the war with detail changes. The Roadmaster, Buick's range-topping model, had a long 129" wheelbase and power from a 320 cubic overhead valve inline eight of 144 horsepower. This 1947 Buick Roadmaster convertible coupe is a gorgeous example in metallic dark grey with grey leather upholstery with matching grey inserts and a grey cloth top that gives it great eye appeal. It is fully restored in all details and resplendent in wide whitewall Firestone tires, hubcaps and trim rings, grille guard and fender skirts. It has a power top and power windows. The engine is meticulously and correctly presented and detailed while the trunk is fully detailed and correctly equipped with spare wheel and tire, a spare cover and jack. The interior has a radio, heater and power seat. It's a gorgous car and will reward a new owner with ample performance, luxury, interior room and the enjoyment of dropping the top on fine days. It is an exceptional restoration in exceptionally attractive and tasteful colors.
