Known History

1941 Cadillac Series 60 Convertible

Chassis # 8341965

For Cadillac, 1941 was yet another record setting year for sales and the reasons were obvious; nothing compares to a Cadillac.

Only 3,100 convertible / coupe examples were built and few remain today.

This stunning automobile finished in light green features a timeless and graceful body style.

New in 1941 was a lower, more modern look, with “torpedo” body and integrated headlights.

As much a pleasure to look at as drive, chassis # 8341965 is stable on the road and has clearly been well preserved.

The series 62 convertible features a 346 cubic inch, 150 horsepower, L-head V8.

This power is transferred through a Hydramatic transmission that delivers a 0-60 time of 14 seconds and a top speed of 100mph.

Our pictures will best describe the look and condition of this vehicle.

It shows wonderfully and although there are a few chips and 1 or 2 stress cracks in the paint from normal use, this does not take away from the overall presentation.

The only issue of note is that the hood and door on the driver side do rub a bit when the door is opened, it will need a simple adjustment.

Interior is spotless and the condition of the chrome, wood, carpets, seats and dash are exquisite.

The engine is quiet and smooth and starts without any problem.

Undercarriage, wheel wells, and fender arches are all solid and no issues were noticed.

Power top is completely operational and it takes form well to the frame.

This is the perfect opportunity to own a true piece of American automotive history.

We invite questions and comments.
