Remarkably rare as one of just 2,195 units originally produced, this top-line 1959 Lincoln Continental Convertible carried a stratospheric $7,056 price when new, befitting its regal stature. Abundant standard features included Six-Way power seats, tinted glass, a Travel-Tuner radio with dual speakers, and power vent windows. Uniquely, the convertible top incorporated a retractable glass rear window. The standard powerplant was a 350 bhp, 430 cu. in. V-8 engine with four-barrel carburetion. Benefiting from a complete nut and bolt restoration and climate-controlled storage, this Continental is strikingly finished in red. Its proportions and fascinating dream car styling are complemented by an impressive interior, gold-colored model identification scripts, abundant brightwork, a highly detailed engine, engine bay, and trunk compartment. Quite rare today, this 1959 Continental Mark II Convertible will undoubtedly provide a unique, powerful and luxurious driving experience for its next owner. In addition, it will be a sure-fire conversation started wherever it goes. For further information or to view additional photos, click here
