This 1935 Lincoln Model K Phaeton was custom bodied by Lincoln Motor Car Company. It was built for use by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. This parade car was used by F.D.R. in California where he was seen by more than 100,000 people at the Los Angeles Coliseum. The President was also seen in the Phaeton throughout Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco. Roosevelt's public appearances in open cars, his fire side chats and smooth calm voice aided morale and helped keep the country moving during the great depression. Notable features include a rear windshield, Presidential Seal, and bumper mounted flags.

The disappearing door windows, smokers kit, and wheelchair accommodations are but a few of the special touches required by Roosevelt. Other options include folding side windows, rear foot rests and jump seats, wide white wall tires, a luggage rack and unnumbered CCCA first prize award confirms the quality of the restoration performed on this car some years ago. This car represents not only the opportunity to own a beautiful custom bodied Lincoln Phaeton; but also to obtain a piece of American history that is arguably priceless.
