This 365 GTC left the factory in March 1969 for the official Ferrari dealership of Milan, M.G. Crepaldi S.a.s. where it was acquired by its first owner. In the early 1970s, the car was imported to Switzerland by Robert de la Rive Box. During that period, the car was photographed by Ferrari historian Marcel Massini at age 19.

On September 10, 1977, Mr. de la Rive Box sold this sophisticated Ferrari to Ralph Stefano, a mechanical engineer and Ferrari collector living in Anchorage, Alaska, who is known to have owned and raced a number of rare Ferrari race cars. In 1987 the Ferrari was acquired by Stuart Hollander of St. Louis, Missouri who commissioned a complete body-off restoration by Cavallino Rapante in Palo Alto, California. Completed in 1989, the work resulted in immediate exhibition success when the car placed Third in Class that same year at the annual Ferrari Club of America National Concours at Lake Lanier Island, Georgia.

In early 2000, this 365 GTC was purchased by Daniel Wetuk of North Salem, New York. Over the next few years, Mr. Wetuk regularly took this car to area specialists for service and maintenance, as reflected by an abundance of receipts accompanying the car.

In December 2004, this Ferrari grand tourer was acquired by Dr. Alex Albarian, a dentist from Glendale, California, who proceeded to invest in some freshening and tasteful updating. The work included the installation of a new clutch in May 2006. From late 2007 to 2009 a range of mechanical and cosmetic work that included reupholstering the center console and replacing the radio, installing new carburetors, adding a factory-correct air-conditioning system as well as rebuilding the suspension and brakes.

This 365 GTC is a well-documented and maintained example whose history includes concours success and experience with a number of well-known Ferrari collectors and enthusiasts. It is is accompanied by owner’s manuals and a toolkit and ready to be enjoyed for years to come.
