Known History

1991 BMW M3 E30 CABRIOLET

The original M3 was introduced in 1985 as a homologation special in order to be able to compete in touring car racing. This required the production of 5000 identical cars in order to be eligible to race in Group A. Subsequently a convertible version of the M3 was produced combining the open top style of the 325i cabriolet with the performance of the M3 saloon. Just 786 convertibles were built at BMW Motorsports factory in Garching, unlike the M3 saloons which were built in the mainstream factory in Munich.

This is an original UK supplied car with its original service book showing Main Dealer stamps up to 1996 and various specialists since, along with the original handbooks and wallet.

In very good condition for its age and hood and rear screen show little signs of wear.
