2011, 25 Apr. – 08 June, serviced by Rod Drew’s F.A.I., 935 Sunset Drive, Costa Mesa, CA, 92627. New battery, new brake master cylinder, flushed brake hydraulic system, drained and flushed fuel system. Cleaned out idle jets, pulled spark plugs and checked, removed and refit choke wheel. Removed all four bumpers and brackets for re-chrome, took right door apart and sent out door handle for re-chrome, removed muffler for rust repair on lower section of rear valance. Stripped and repainted battery hold-down. Replaced clutch cable. Drilled-out side molding on top for refinish and reassembled when back from paint shop. Repaired dent in passenger’s door. Repainted door. Repaired lower part of rear valance, repaired inside of rear fender and blacked out, repaired dent in right rear quarter behind bumper. Color matched and blended paint. Refinished and painted Targa top panel. Trucked to and from detail shop. Cleaned and detailed engine compartment. Total invoice: $11,899.77.
