Trucks don't get much better looking than this 1972 Chevrolet C10. While once regarded as little more than tools, this one is proof that they also make incredible customs that look great and deliver impressive performance. This beautifully done pickup features a built 350 under the hood and a lot of custom touches that enhance an already handsome design. The bodywork was redone in period correct colors, but with the other details they seem contemporary and fresh. You'll note a steel cowl induction hood and a custom chin spoiler that help give it a sporty look, no doubt aided by the lowered suspension and big rolling stock. Nothing has been shaved or deleted, which only shows you how great the original design really was. All the original trim was freshened, including the stainless strips that separate the colors and a new billet grille cleans up the nose. The bed has been finished with real wood planks, which were still available in 1972, while aluminum bed rails add some style and help secure cargo. The matching interior combines the best of the original design with some custom modifications to create a unique driving environment. That's the original bench seat, reupholstered using matching fabrics in the original style, and the door panels have been trimmed to match. Overhead there's a custom headliner with stainless steel inserts and a bowtie emblem. The original gauges have been replaced with a billet insert full of Auto Meter white-faced gauges. Other upgrades include ice cold A/C and a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo system. A billet steering wheel has been wrapped in matching orange leather, and billet pedals complete the update without altering the basic goodness of the truck. A rebuilt 350 cubic inch V8 rumbles under the hood, and there's a lot of chrome and other dress up that will make you proud to show it off. There's a big Holley 4-barrel living atop a polished intake, and the billet air cleaner and polished aluminum valve covers have matching orange accents. The fuel system has been upgraded to feed the new engine, including braided stainless lines and a fuel pressure gauge to fine-tune the mixture. Power steering and brakes make it a pleasure to drive, and the custom accessory brackets offer more polished aluminum flash. Ignition is by MSD, and you'll note that even the control box has been painted to match the body. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic driving a 12-bolt rear end, so the drivetrain on this truck is virtually bulletproof. You'll also note that it has been tastefully lowered using dropped spindles and custom springs out back, and rolls on a set of gorgeous billet aluminum wheels and Goodyear performance radials. Looking at this truck, it's obvious that it was a cherished toy and not simply a workhorse. Nicely finished inside and out, it still presents well even after several years of cruising fun. It runs exceptionally well and shows beautifully, and will continue to turn heads for years to come. Call now! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom.
