Ferrari 365 California Spider Conversion LHD in a stunning condition.The last owner bought this 365GT 2 2 in the 1980s and towards that decade’s end decided to convert it to soft-top configuration in the style of a ‘Spyder California’. The project commenced at workshops of the respected Ateliers des Coteaux , needless to say at considerable expense. Refurbishment of the interior woodwork was entrusted to Deshaye and the brightwork re-plated by APS. Both the leather interior and fabric soft-top were re-trimmed in 2000 and a new stainless-steel exhaust fitted in 2002. The engine, clutch and gearbox were overhauled in 2007 by the well known specialist Jean-Louis Préaubert, the former being converted to accept unleaded fuel, while the brakes and front/rear suspension were serviced also.
