Black/Tan. Never rusted, never hit, no patch panels, no bondo. Painted in the '70s over the original Black paint. Paint is scratched, and buffed through, but the body is laser straight with perfect drip rails, floors, quarters, trunk floor, tool area, fender mounts, gaps. Tapping the body anywhere is like tapping an empty coffee can. Original '40 engine rebuilt 1500 miles ago with Denver aluminum 'cheater' heads and 2 97s on an Edelbrock manifold. Starts instantly, runs cool, and has great power. New wiring harness, brakes, and converted to 12 volt. The chassis is straight, clean and updated to tube shocks and reversed eye springs. Not a street rod, but a tastefully modified original car. Drives great. |
