Sold: €27,000

Introduced for the 1984 model year, the Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 replaced the 911 3.0 SC. It shared the same body and chassis with a number of detail improvements. Coupe, Targa and Cabriolet body styles were available as was, for some markets, a 'Turbo Look' option, incorporating the wider body of the Turbo and its trademark 'whale tail' spoiler. The 911 Carrera 3.2 was really a further development of the tried and tested 911 series, now offering an enlarged engine with a power output of some 231bhp. Other than in detail the body remained unchanged from the 911 3.0 SC, while the interior was gradually improved, although over the course of its production life many details were changed and several additional options were offered.

This Porsche 911 Targa has enjoyed just two owners from new, the first of whom used the car sparingly which is backed up by original Porsche service invoices confirming the car's mileage; indeed, the car has covered a nominal 86,000 kilometres from new, just run-in by Porsche standards! Desirable factory extras include electrically-operated seats, air conditioning, sunroof and a leather interior. Always serviced by official Porsche service agents and with the tyres recently renewed, we are informed by the vendor that the car is hard to fault in every respect. The owner, a perfectionist, has also recently had the Targa top material replaced, not because it leaked but because he insisted it was time the rubber seals were replaced. A perfect Porsche for someone who demands the best available.
