We are pleased to offer 2004 Saleen S7 s/n 04–042. Finished in liquid silver with black leather interior with charcoal inserts, this one–owner from new Saleen is “as–new”, has been museum kept and has only 86.8 miles! The Saleen S7 features a 7.0 liter, alloy block V8 putting out 550 hp and 525 lb–ft of torque, backed by a six–speed transaxle with a road–ready weight of a mere 2,750 lbs. The low–slung carbon–fiber bodied S7 can accelerate from 0–60 mph in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 223 mph, matching your neighbor’s Enzo and massively overpowering his F50 and F40!

The Saleen S7 racing version, the S7R, has proven itself on the international motor sports circuits in the American Le Mans Series, the FIA GT Championship, at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 12 Hours of Sebring. From 2000 through 2006 the S7R has won nearly 60 races around the world, capturing seven GT Manufacturers’ championships and GT Drivers’ championships, winning the grueling 12 Hours of Sebring and setting a new track record at the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The Saleen S7 offers a tidal wave of torque, instantaneous steering feedback and Velcro–like road holding thanks to huge, low–profile Pirelli P Zero Rosso with 275/30YR–19 fronts and 345/25YR–20 rear tires. Stopping is “right now” through massive Brembo calipers on pie–plate size rotors! The wing–like doors and front and rear compartments can be opened with a click of the remote, showing the luxurious leather interior and polished aluminum high–tech style dash and console. Thanks to the carbon fiber body and aluminum–honeycomb inner panels, the road–ready S7 weighs in at a mere 2,750 lbs, providing a pure driving experience that is only a small step away from that of a racing car. Complete with the original window sticker, the owner’s manual, parts book, original fitted luggage, the AM/FM/CD changer, DVD/TV audio system with remote and the rearview video camera with interior LCD. This one–owner Saleen offers staggering performance and svelte good looks. We are pleased to offer a unique chance to have a truly “as–new” S7.

Known History

VIN: 1S9SB18144S000042. The Saleen S7 was the first car to be completely developed digitally using tools such as Unigraphics and Rhinoceros 3D. The alloy–block engine was developed from a Ford 427cid engine casting and re–engineered to be eight inches (203.2 mm) shorter. The road–ready S7 weighs 2750 lb and has an effective weight more than double of this during high speeds due to downforce. The entire body is fabricated in aluminum–honeycomb reinforced carbon fiber. Thanks to the use of scoops, spoilers, and other aerodynamic features to create split–channel airflow throughout the car, at 160 miles per hour (257 km/h), the car creates its own weight in downforce and could theoretically be driven upside down
