In creating the Mustang Scooter in 1945, John Gladden of California intended to bridge the gap between scooters and full-size motorcycles. His business plan proved successful and by the 1960s the company had expanded to include the Bronco, Stallion and Thoroughbred models.

The Bronco on offer has a particularly interesting color combination; its frame and fenders are painted black while the tank and wheels are finished in red and yellow, respectively. Marks and scrapes are visible in certain locations, while the seat leather is showing some wrinkles, all of which are not overly detrimental to the bike ĺ s quality. The chrome trim and engine likewise seem to be unrestored but, again, are indicative of a solid, driver- quality bike. Other elements, such as the tires, handle grips, and foot pegs have survived very well. Given this Mustang ĺ s age, it continues to be a very respectable motorscooter with plenty of power and acceleration for young riders and fun-loving adults.
