Specifications: 165cc single-cylinder two-stroke engine, CVT transmission

With a production run that lasted just five years, the Topper was Harley-Davidson ĺ s one and only venture into the motor scooter business. First introduced in 1960, the Topper was bodied in fiberglass and steel and powered by a 165cc single-cylinder engine with a rope-recoil starter.

This particular example is finished in blue and white and, despite signs of road use, appears to have been restored to a very presentable finish. The chrome is generally in the same state, although it could benefit from a thorough cleaning. The two-tone upholstery is in excellent condition as are the tires, which appear to be new. Other details, such as the rubber hand grips and floorboard mats, have also survived remarkably well while the engine bay is of driver quality and may require additional cleaning. A windscreen and rear-mounted parcel carrier serve as practical accessories to this unusual yet particularly delightful Harley-Davidson.
