In 1958, Cadillac continued production of the Series 75 Fleetwood limousine, employing the same brand-wide styling changes that make all 1958s easily identifiable from the previous year. Like all Cadillacs, dual headlamps replaced the single units from the preceding year, the grille was slightly modified to add round ô cleats ö (possibly to solidify its reference to a boat) and the tailfins were, surprisingly, reduced but only minimally. The large 365 cubic inch V8 engine produced 310 brake horsepower at 4800 rpm. All models came with cruise control, air conditioning, two speaker radios with automatic signal seeking and automatic parking brake release.

The limousine was a true land yacht. The formidable Series 75, with its less than modest tail fins and overall length of 216.8 inches (just over 18 feet), was a true behemoth coming down the street. With only 802 produced, the limousine is a truly rare luxury item that is not out of place in any collection.

The 1958 Cadillac Fleetwood Limousine presented here is a highly original example finished in white. In the massively spacious interior, there is no divider to get in the way of conversing with your driver or, if you choose to drive it yourself, your guests. Notably, the jump seats are quite large and comfortable as well. Overall, the styling is quite impressive and includes a number of unique design features. One such detail is doors that extend into the roof, creating a dramatic visual effect and allowing better access to the interior.

Inspection reveals that the Limousine was repainted some time ago, however the engine, undercarriage and interior all appear to be in original condition and as such show age appropriate wear. As expected of an older repaint on an otherwise highly original car, close inspection reveals a multitude of imperfections such as discoloration of fabric, evidence of oxidation, some blistering of chrome and trim pieces as well as evidence of road use in the engine bay and the undercarriage.
