Alfa Romeo Alfetta 2.0, year 1982. Colour blue metallic with a grey fabric interior. This Alfa Romeo Alfetta is in superb (excellent+) original condition. The car looks almost brand new! The bodywork is 100% perfect as is the original paint. The interior looks new, maybe you will find traces of use under a magnifying glass. Like the looks the car also drives and handles like it just left the factory. The odometer has not even reached 20.000 kilometers. A service booklet is not available but it is hard to believe (concerning the overall condition) that this car drove 120.000 kilometers from new... The automobile was imported from Italy in the year 2004. After that the car had one owner who took care of the car perfectly. The car was given an extensive Dinitrol (anti-rust) treatment. The car is being sold including a set of very nice alloy Campagnolo rims. If you come to inspect the car you can admire them in the boot.

Known History

In the year 1972 the Alfa Romeo Alfetta succeeded the 1750 Berlina. The new design resulted in a comfortable, spacious and sporty sedan. The shape of the Alfetta was more 'edgy', in style with the fashion of those days. First the Alfetta 1.8 was introduced. The car featured the renown 'Alfa Nord' engine which was enlarged up to 1800 cc. and delivering a smooth 120 bhp. With this engine the Alfetta was given a top speed of 180 km/h. In the year 1977 the Alfetta 2.0 was introduced on the European market. The 2.0 was available on the American market already. The Alfetta 2.0 was re-designed on details, therefore it looked more modern. the car was given angular shaped headlamps, larger bumpers with plastic edges and large rear lights. The Alfa Romeo Alfetta was the first Alfa Romeo model which could be bought with a VM diesel engine from 1978. The Alfetta was built until 1984 as it was succeeded by the Alfa Romeo 90.
