Production of the Lancia Aurelia B20 began only a year after the introduction of the Lancia Aurelia B10 sedan at the 1950 Turin Motor show. Designed by the Italian coach-builder Felice Mario Boano, the sporty two-door coupe was produced by Pininfarina and sat on a shortened wheel base.

There were total of six series for the coupe. The 620 examples of the 6th and last series, produced between 1957 and 1958, were the most touring-oriented of the B20’s, focusing less on performance gains and more on luxury. The 6th series is easily recognizable by its front-opening quarter-lights in the doors and chrome gutter and bonnet strips. The monocoque shell was assembled from hand-beaten steel panels, welded together.

All Lancia Aurelias have a V-six engine with an alloy block and a rear-mounted, alloy-cased gearbox. The 6th series retained the fashionable column gear change but had a strengthened first gear and clutch.

This fabulous coupe, one of only 195 RHD examples built in 1958. It is in excellent condition, with a grey exterior and black leather interior.
