| The DB6 gave some useful improvements on the out going DB5 model, without loosing any of its quality or charm. The increase in wheelbase gave improved rear seat comfort and the Cam-Tail gave improved high speed stability. The most powerful version was the Vantage with triple Webber carburettors, bigger valves and improved cam shafts.
This fully restored example has been developed to a higher specification still. Equipped with a 4.7 litre R.S Williams engine that cost over $55,000 and has covered less than 1000 miles. This high torque engine really gives this car long legs. Coupled to a fully rebuilt ZF five speed gearbox and improved suspension to complete the mechanical package. The car also features air conditioning and power steering. Extra heat and sound insulation was installed during the restoration to keep unwanted heat and noise out. The black leather interior has been fitted with special sports seats and a modern concealed sound system. The body has perfect paint and panel finish.
It really is a super example of this desirable model.
