Estimate:
$ 45,000 - $ 55,000 US

After a number of years working to improve their automobile, partners Rene Panhard and Émile Levassor developed a version they were able to sell as the world's first standard model car. The Great Depression hit them as hard as any manufacturing concern and combined with a strike in 1936 the company was nearly ruined. It was only their reputation for quality that saw them through. This example lives up to that reputation and is an ideal addition for anyone interested in prewar European cars. Featuring right-hand drive, a six-cylinder engine, hydraulic brakes, torsion bar suspension, and rear jump seats as well as a partitioned-off rear compartment, the car still shows well.For the complete description or to view additional photos, click here
