This is a nice 1970 Maserati Ghibli, red with black leather interior. According to the registry kept by the Maserati Club of Germany this car left the factory as a red car. Although one sees many red Ghibli, most of them have been color changed, this is an original red car.

The paint was done to very high standards years ago and still looks good from 15 feet. Up close you can see the start of some crazing. There are rust bubbles forming on the bottom of both doors. There is also some bubbles in the front of the hood. The rest of the car is very solid. The floors are original and in great condition. The same is true of the trunk floor and the rocker panels. The undercarriage is nice and solid. The chrome is straight and very good all around. Glass is good.

The seats were nicely redone in black leather to match the rest of the interior, which is all original. The headliner is in very good condition. Prior owner put a modern XM radio and added a couple of rear speakers. The rear speakers were placed inside separate boxes and NO holes were cut. He even used the existing screws to hold the boxes, therefore they can be easily removed and the nothing has been modified. Rear seat cushions are included. Overall the interior looks very nice.

Mechanically this car is VERY nice!. It runs and idles flawlessly without any popping of the carbs or hesitation.
There are receipts for over $32,000 spent between 2000 and 2002. This included cylinder head rebuilt, new stainless steel euro headers, AC work, carbs rebuilt, cooling system, brakes, and much more. The work was done by Steve Claasen of Tropical Sportscar Center in Ft Lauderdale. He is a well known Maserati mechanic. Copies of the receipts can be downloaded from my website. These cars sound fantastic with the quad exhaust! This is the third Ghibli I have owned with the quad exhaust and it really transforms the driving experience. The euro exhaust manifold, which this car has, is also is a great improvement as the USA manifolds were somewhat restrictive. Clutch and gearbox are working properly.

All the gauges, including the clock, are in working order. Tires are Pirelli P4000 Super Touring in very nice condition.

Car comes with manuals, receipts and jack with tools.
