1961 Facel Vega Facellia 2 Seat coupe. Serial number A210 Burgundy with black interior and black top. 24,000 miles. Fitted with correct and original 1646 twin overhead cam four cylinder engine fitted to a4 speed Pont-a-Mousson Transmission. French car.
The car has been given a cosmetic restoration with fresh paint in the correct original color scheme, the stainless steel bumpers have been correctly and expertly redone, the interior has also been totally redone. The under side is fresh and clean as well with no rust. Mechanically the car has recently had fresh stainless steel brakes. The engine has just been checked over and found to have excellent compression and it runs strongly as well. The car also has had new correct Michelin X tires installed. While the car has been gone thru and a lot of time effort and money has been spent on the car, there are still some small details needed such as the antena, one of the bumper stops is missing, there is a chip on the front nose near where the hood edge hinges, the radio knobs are missing, the rear tail lights have cracks in them,it needs a side view mirror, an emblem is missing off one of the hub caps, with some further details done to the car,you would have an excellent example of a very rare interesting collectable car. The car shows nicely other than that and it has been gone thru with all the important areas taken care of.
This two owner car has been owned by the same person since 1982 .It is still fitted with the original short wave radio.
