Known History

This DB5 has been in the hands of the current owner for more than 24 years, it has the desirable ZF five-speed gearbox and is finished in Dubonnet Rosso with Beige leather interior.

The car was restored by HWM in 1978 and in that same year won the Fort Belvedere Trophy at the AMOC's Goodwood Concours.

Stored in a dry barn, the Aston has been used only rarely in the past ten years and is a lovely example of an older restoration of this iconic model.

The association of the Aston Martin marque with James Bond started with the DB5 and the model has retained pre-eminence in the market place ever since. There is a continued high demand for the model and exceptional examples rarely find their way to the open market.

DB5/2058/R is a great example of the DB5 ľ its history is sound and well researched with a comprehensive MOT history that validates that record of minimal use ľ it represents great opportunity and sound investment for a collector and enthusiast alike.
