Known History

The MT900 was initially produced in America from 2001 incorporating a carbon fibre body powered by a mid-mounted 5.7 litre V8 Chevrolet Corvette engine. The majority of the limited numbers built were the racing version designated MT900R, which the factory team debuted in the 2001 Daytona 24 Hours. 2003 saw the MT900R competing in Europe, taking the honours in the British GT Championship and Spa 1000kms. Following on from this success saw the cars being built in the UK, as well as the US. In 2005 the MT900S introduced as an approved road going model, with later variations being the MT900SC (supercharged) and MT900SGT (7 litre V8). Racing success continued with cars competing in events Australia and Japan as well as Europe. The MT900S has been developed as an FIA GT3 race car featuring the 7 litre V8 and a Hewland transaxle.
