1932 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Kellner - Salamanca Chassis # 78 JS Engine # JB 35 This magnificent car is a happy marriage of one of the most desirable chassis of its day with the striking coachwork of one of France's most respected body builders, Kellner. This beautifully restored example was originally purchased on March 8, 1932 by Mr. Jacques Violet of Paris, France. The car was then purchased by Mr. Vivian A. Corradini of Arcadia, California. In the 1950's J.B. Nethercutt of the Nethercutt Collection in San Sylmar, California, bought the car and displayed it until 1965. Mr. Nethercutt sold 78 JS to Bill Harrah of the world famous Harrah's Collection in Reno, Nevada. Mr. Harrah restored the car completely. It was later re-purchased by J.B. Nethercutt in 1984 during the liquidation auction of the Harrah's Auto Collection. Chassis 78J S was cosmetically restored by one of California's premier facilities, Mike Fennel Restorations in 2011.
