Known History

Originally finished in Bahama Yellow with Black Leather upholstery, the car was one of 46 examples of the fuel injected model and identified as such by the engine number which is still stamped on the block.

However, alongside the external colour that moved from Bahama Yellow to Blue, there have been a number of changes to the car’s specification over the years. Importantly was the change in January 1977 when Aston Martin Works Service changed the car to Vantage specification removing the fuel injection and fitting three Weber carburettors.

The first owner was a Mr R Lewis and the Vehicle Registration Document notes a total of four former keepers and, as well as Mr Lewis, there are invoices in the name of Eden and Knight.

There is continuing huge demand for Touring’s Superleggera Aston Martins with the DB6 Mark 2 model probably being the fastest appreciating example.

DB6MK2/4276/R has been in long term, careful ownership and that means that it offers a tremendous opportunity for the next owner to enjoy this ultimate evocation of the Touring design from the word go.
