Comments
By serial number this is the 42 example of 330 assigned chassis numbers allotted to the production of Ferrari's now famous 275 GTB/4 series of Scaglietti Berlinettas.

By actual production, this car was the 30th example completed and is therefore an extremely early production model. (Ferrari's records record the assembly sequence number as 30.)

The first owner of this car is recored by Ferrari's own records as a Sig. Nessi. However the car is documented to have been owned or possibly given by Ferrari when new to Team driver and English racer / engineer Mike Parkes.

As well as driving for Ferrari, Parkes was the development and test engineer fort he 275 GTB series of cars. The car's original Italian Registrtion was MC 98410.

In the late 1960s the car was purchased by David Piper directly from Mike Parkes and imported into the United Kingdom.

Piper sold the car on July 21st, 1973 to Mr. Bruce Halford of Torquay, England. Halford registered the car on UK plates UXF 420 M on August 1st, 1973. At the time of his purchase the car had recorded 19,000 kilometers.

Halford retained the car for the next three years before selling it on March 29th, 1976 to Mr. Ken Smith of Angus, Scottland.

Prior to Halford selling the car with a recorded 34,247 kilometers, he had the car fitted with one new camshaft to repair a scored journal. Other than periodic maintenance the car is recorded by Halford in a detailed letter to have been exceptional in every way.

The car was later re-registered on UK plates "GSK 3" prior to being sold to West Falenweg, Germany and noted Ferrari collector, Mr. Klaus Werner.

The car was later offered for sale in 1984 by Werner through Klassische Automobile, Wuppertal. In 1987 the car was purchased by G. McIver of Rochdale, Lancaster, England and then re-imported to the UK.

The car later was purchased and became part of a well known private museum collection where it has remained until our recent purchase. Today this car's odometer shows 54,475 original kms.

This car is eligible for a variety of different classic tours, road-rallies such at the Tour Auto / Tour d'Espagna, Copper State, New England Tour 1000 etc...

This car is offered for sale at $795,000 or approximately ú425,000 / ?620,000.
