Wolseley made very high quality cars, of which this is a very good example. It has a good history file including a copy of its factory build sheet. The body type, often described as a Doctor's Coupe, is a two/three seater open tourer with a folding hood which is fully lined so giving car the same level of interior finish as a luxury fixed head saloon when it is in the upright position. It has framed glass side windows which dissappear completely into the doors when lowered. The seats are finished in top quality woven cloth. The car is mechanically very good indeed with a strong smooth engine, good gearbox, plus good suspension and brakes. It has the added benefit of an originally fitted electric starter and electric lighting so it is practicable to use the car at all times of the day as well as in all weathers. This is a top quality Edwardian car from a highly respected manufacturer. It is ideal for rallies, shows and general touring and offers very good value for money. PS Sorry about the rather dull pictures which were taken indoors due to poor weather conditions at the time - a better set of photographs will be provided in the next few days!
