Estimate:
$110,000 - $120,000

The XK 150 roadster introduced in 1958 and is the ultimate expression of Jaguar's XK-series cars, the XK 150 was the natural product of continual improvements to the lineage, as well as the marque's brilliant competition record. Four-wheel disc brakes, an enlarged radiator opening, a longer hood and front fenders, a revised cylinder head and enhanced passenger room marked the most significant improvements. The 1959 Jaguar XK 150 S represents the third and final evolutionary step in the development of the XK series that commenced with the XK 120 in 1948 and ended in 1960. The XK 150 entered production in May 1957, with the fixed-head coupe and the drophead coupe. The roadster was added nearly one year after XK 150 production commenced. The XK 150 continued to offer spirited performance with luxurious appointments, and it remains as appealing today as it was over 50 years ago. This desirable S-specification car is solid and rust-free, has been well-maintained and is presented with a white finish, black soft-top and black leather interior. It is reported to be a low mileage example and the interior has a look of originality. Exercising the Jaguar confirms its sporting pedigree, the 3.4-liter DOHC inline six-cylinder engine four-speed manual transmission and four-wheel disc brakes provides a very responsive platform. Factory wire wheels are mounted via the period standard knock-off hubs with two-eared spinners.
