This Porsche is the 1974 911S race car from The Newman/Freeman race team. This 911S was raced by the actor Paul Newman at Sebring in 1977. The car was sponsored by Beverly Hills Porsche Audi for that race period and the car was later raced through to 1987 as the Bullwinkle car then the Pabst Blue Ribbon car. This 911S has had a full life on the track starting in 1975 up to and beyond 1987. This Porsche 911S took a podium finish at the skilled hands of Bill Bean in Ohio in 1979. This Porsche raced the Camel series, it raced IMSA GTU,GTO and O classes.
After retirement the car was restored back to the Newman/Freeman livery with the vintage race series in mind. The vechicle has been ground up restored with over 1000 man hours to obtain the result you see in the photographs. This Porsche is an important piece of automotive art and can give its new owner many hours of driving/racing satisfaction.
