The 246 F1 was the last great front engined Grand Prix Ferrari running through the 1958-60 seasons and driven by stars such as Mike Hawthorn, Tony Brooks and Phil Hill to name but a few. In the early 1970's the great English Ferrari collector Sir Anthony Bamford bought all the remaining parts from the disassembled Works team cars direct from the factory, and had Graypaul Motors reconstruct the three 1960 specification F1 Dinos back to full racing condition. Since then this Dino has proven itself a winner in Historic racing, notably in the hands of Willie Green and Tony Merrick and latterly for its current owner running as ever right up at the front at Laguna Seca and events throughout Europe! Supplied with FIA papers and an invitee for the Goodwood Revivial this year.
