This is a gorgeous car, completely refinished and ready to be driven and enjoyed. Originally built on November 5, 1964 and shipped to the Compton, California Austin-Healey dealer, it was originally Colorado Red with an Ambla (black) interior. It received a frame off restoration in 1995 and was painted its stunning shade of British Racing Green with a Tan interior, and was sold to an owner in Seattle, where it remained for three years prior to returning to California (this time Southern CA) in 1999, where it was upgraded throughout by Eric Grunden of Absolutely British in Ontario, California. Today it is in impeccable condition, and runs and drives as new. There is a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate (see photo) verifying that all numbers match the original production car, and it has won numerous Concours awards after its restoration and upgrading in 1999. Here is a unique opportunity to own an appreciating classic that is enjoyable to drive and does not require extensive or expensive maintenance. Includes a car cover, battery tender and a BOX of documentation with extensive service receipts and several spare parts (see photos). Specially priced to sell at $73,550!!! |
