| Chassis # 38243 Engine # 135 Coachwork Lavocat and Marsaud.
The first Type 38, chassis # 38101, was delivered to a banker and friend of Ettore Bugatti, Mssr. Leo d’Erlanger, in March 1926. Lavocat and Marsaud and Vanvooren in France, Murphy in the US, and the British Compton Co. fitted the Type 38's with differt types of coachwork. This is a nice car and has many very interesting features.
The car has been restored and appears from inspection to be a very correct and authentic car in all aspects. The car presents itself very well and we would term the car a very nice driver, but not perfect show condition.
