1967 Jaguar E-Type was the last year of the most desirable series 1 cars. As a series 1 car it predates tightening US emissions regulations that drastically altered the later cars. The Series 1 can be recognised by glass covered headlights (up to 1967), small "mouth" opening at the front, signal lights and tail-lights above bumpers and exhaust tips under the licence plate in the rear. As the last of the series 1 cars it is equipped with triple SU carburetion. Further late series 1 advantages were fully synchronized 4 speed transmission, diaphragm clutch, alternator rather than generator, improved braking charachteristics, imroved electrical systems and a higher final drive ratio. This exceptional example was frame off restored by a well respected Jaguar collector/restorer marque specialist in Arizona. The total nut and bolt rotisserie restoration was recently completed.
