| We are pleased to offer 1977 Ferrari 308 GTB s/n 20969. This lightweight Ferrari racer was completely re–built and race prepared in the early 1990s by Jim Carpenter to SCCA GT–2 and IMSA GT–2 rules, and is still SCCA GT–2 legal and competitive today. Now also eligible for many historic race series such as Vintage SCCA, SVRA, HMS, the Chicago Historics, etc. This 308 GTB features a full NASCAR style roll cage and easily removable 288 GTO style body panels, SPARCO seats and “on board” fire system. Massive four-piston calipers provide race–track bred braking under all conditions. The tubular steel suspension has all urethane bushings and solid mounted sway bars. The wheels are 288 GTO style 16″ wheels on quick–change pin–drive hubs. The engine utilizes P6 cams and Cosworth pistons, a light–weight valve train and polished and ported heads, giving strong and reliable performance. The ignition is by direct coil, and the induction and fuel cell system is SCCA approved. A passenger’s seat can be fitted making a great Ferrari club event car. The list of work done to make this car safe, fast and easy to drive is too long to list here, but a detailed list is available.
This car has been race sorted and is fully “dialed in”. This is the most competitive and least expensive Ferrari race car available in today’s market. Can be licensed for road use in some states. Priced right at $79,500.
