| The BJ-8 offered here is finished in the desirable British Racing Green with black trim and black top with matching top boot (both finished in correct “Everflex” material.) Marque specialists performed a professional nut-and-bolt, ground-up restoration to the highest concours standards. The body panels and chassis were stripped to bare metal. The chassis was then sealed, primed and painted with catalyzed polyurethane enamel. The panel fit is excellent. All mechanical components were restored or replaced without regard or expense. A new, stainless steel exhaust was fitted and all chrome was replaced or replated. Sixty spoke stainless/chrome Dayton wire wheels were fitted with 175x15 inch Michelin radial tires. This restoration was completed in 2005.
With the added power and creature comforts this BJ-8 will surely provide pleasure to its next owner whether for tour or for show. This example comes complete with a photo album of the restoration, spare tire and rim, owner’s handbook, knock off hammer and BMIHT certificate verifying that this is a matching numbers car. ________________________________________________________________________________________
