1956 Bentley S1 Continental Park Ward Coupe Chassis Number: BC16LAF Engine Number: BC15A Of the roughly 440 S1 Continentals built, this is 1 of 73 Coupes built by Park Ward of London, England. It is 1 of 33 LHD built. One of the very early S1 Continentals produced this car was ordered by the famous movie producer Jack Warner of Hollywood. Mr. Warner wanted the first left hand drive Park ward Coupe made. The S1 Continental was a lighter and more powerful sporting model than the standard chassis, having a reduced weight of some 225 pounds. It also has the proven and reliable six cylinder engine, that is coupled to the smooth Hydramatic four speed automatic transmission. With beautiful styling and many interior amenities, this magnificent car is truly a pleasure to gaze upon and drive. This extremely rare and desirable left hand drive example was recently serviced by Mike Fennel Restorations in Saugas, California.
