| A genuine Aston Martin Racing DBR9 carrying chassis number 102, the 1 in front of the number designates it as a customer car as opposed to a works car. The specification of this car is unique and was done delivered a special specifically tailored car to Alcides Diniz requirements, the major alterations from a standard DBR9 are as follows, 1. Engine - Up rated performance 2. Aerodynamic package - High down force 3. Gearbox - Semi automatic 4. Reduced dry weight Engine. The engine (911) fitted to this car and the spare (909) that is included are both up rated D specification engines, they are significantly more powerful, (around 13% ****or**** 75 bhp) than the standard engine of that time running on series specific restrictors. The engines run on larger diameter restrictors, (34mm) and have some mechanical changes to the specification, subject to the class the car would be racing in the engines would need some conversion before they would be eligible for competition. Aerodynamic package The car was requested with a High down force setup that did not respect series regulations, as such a specific kit was developed for that car and briefly comprises, extended high down force front splitter, full width high down force rear wing. There are some original panels to replace the unregulated ones. Gearbox The car is fitted with the standard DBR9 gearbox.
