Blue Ischia with Grey-Naturale leather interior with Black carpeting, Recently Restored.

This Miura SV, Chassis # 4968, Engine #30671, Prod. #670 was completed by the works on October 18th 1971. It was split sump, originally "Rosso Miura" paint with black leather interior, gold sills and wheels, Autovox radio and twin Sebring mirrors. It was originally supplied to Rome concessionaire, SEA Automobili.

1974- 4968 was imported into the USA and was first owned by a Philadelphia-based professor of psychology for 22 years.

1996 – Sold to a New York based Miura enthusiast.

1999- Sold to a Toronto, Ontario, Canada based Miura enthusiast.

2004 - Sold to a California based Miura enthusiast owner in May of 2004 with 12,000 original miles and original in every way, including its original "Miura Rosso" paint and black leather interior. Although well maintained the engine was never removed from the car's chassis. A compression check on the car's engine showed between 180 and 195 on all 12 cylinders, and a post-service road test proved that 4968 has a superb engine and gearbox.

Complete with all original equipment including original Pirellli CN12 tires, rubber spare-tire straps, rubber battery cover, tools are with the car, it even still has the factory's running-in ('In Roddaggio') sticker in the windscreen, and the original Autovox radio still works! It is believed to be the lowest-mileage original unmolested example and has been featured in OCTANE magazine.

July 2004 – Sold to a major Louisiana based Ferrari collector of note. Now serviced thoroughly, the car is not stored away in a warehouse, but rather is driven as often as possible (several times weekly) when the owner is not driving his 1962 Le Mans winning Ferrari 330 TRI/LM on the street!

September 1st 2004, 4968 sold again for a confirmed to a new Houston, Texas-based owner.

November 2005 – Miura stripped by a well-known and respected California based Lamborghini restorer Garry Bobileff for full restoration. Completed in the new color “Blu Ischia” chosen by it new owner, this color being the same light metallic blue as used on the 1968 Brussels Salon Bertone Miura Spyder.

August 2006 - Restoration now completed, this SV absolutely stunning will be shown at the Monterey Concorso Italiano and the Palos Verdes Concours D'Elegance in California.

This Miura SV has been given its notoriety and accolades from its recent restoration and has thus been traded to Autosport Designs, Inc. in its newly restored, exceptional condition. It has been been involved in a multi- automobile trade from the previous client’s collection. Why? This SV is too good, it is perfect and too good to be driven on a regular basis and my client is a driver! It must go to someone who will we appreciate it for its show quality.
