Brighton Motorsports is now offering for sale this rare Jaguar XK150S project car. The owner of our shop originally purchased this car to restore for himself. With our restoration facility busy restoring customer’s cars and a few of his other cars he realized it’s time to let this cat go. The XK150S Roadster is one of the more desirable motorcars from that era. The performance and comfort level in these cars make them a great choice for rallys and long distance cruising. The XK150S featured technological advancements from Jaguars successful racing program such as four wheel disc brakes. With only 926 S Roadsters produced, the values have been steadily increasing. In 2008 RM auctions sold one in Monterey for $145,000 and one at Amelia Island for $154,000. While this car needs a complete restoration, it is a numbers matching car that comes with 99% of the parts needed to put it back together. The car also comes with a very rare and stylish aftermarket fiberglass hardtop. We have the top bows but no soft top and both rear quarter panels. The engine is complete and the head matches the block. I have a pallet of parts that I could not access to photograph at this time but I did photo the parts that were accessible.
