Hemi V8 Runs Great - This Fiberglass Roadster is Tons of Fun!
| Brighton Motorsports is pleased to present this rare and unique 1959 Daimler SP250 Convertible. This example wears the factory original color combination of pale yellow with a brown interior and tan top. It has been fully restored and is in very presentable ‘driver’ condition. The paint work is quality with no signs of orange peel or runs. The interior is equipped with a roll bar and the original leather wrapped steering wheel. Inside you will also find soft, clean leather on the seats and an attractive tan carpet with brown trim. All of the chrome is shiny and blemish free. The Daimler SP250 was launched at the 1959 New York Motor Show as the “Dart”. The majority of the 2645 cars produced were sold in the competitive American market. The SP250 has a fiberglass body, four wheel Girling disc brakes, and a 2.5 liter Hemi-head aluminum V8 designed by Edward Turner. The V8 in this small, lightweight (2000lbs) car enables it to reach a 120mph top speed and the subtle rumble it produces from the dual exhausts is quite unexpected. The engine, clutch, gearbox, brakes and suspension work as they should on this numbers matching example. All of the gauges are operational and accurate. This little V8 roadster is rewarding to drive, responsive, fun and rare. Now is your chance to acquire one of these desirable sports cars for a reasonable price.
