275 GTB - Shortnose
| We are honoured to offer a truly unique Ferrari 275 GTB ‘Shortnose’ for sale. The Ferrari 275 was designed as a two-seat front-engined GT car, produced between 1964 and 1968. The GTB twin cam was the first variation produced by Carrozzeria Scaglietti and was available with 3 or 6 Weber twin-choke carburettors, it was designed to be more of a pure sports car contrary to what the name suggests. This particular car is a two-cam, 3 Weber carburettor, steel body model and was the first of only 46 right hand drive cars produced. This car was produced in late 1964 and featured in the 1964 London Motor Show as the first right hand drive 275 GTB ever produced. In 1993 this particular car made an exchange of ownership when the new owner carried out a straight swap of his TWR Racing Jaguar XJS with no monetary consideration. It also comes with an extensive history of previous owners and various stages of mechanical prep work carried out over the years.
